I kind of have that feeling currently, just like I wanna create some epic piano with strings thing, or something. Everytime I go to work on a song I always stop and think "I really want to make a nice piano mix... Hmmmm..." and totally go off from working on the song to trying to pull a nice piano flow out from my ass.
And just remember that the Ancient Greeks told all of their epic stories through song and dance!

And I think I can pull an orchestral piece off... May take a while though.
So right now, I've got about 4 songs in the works:
Fantasia No. 1, the epic orchestral.
The Last Days of Summer, right now it's a slow-ish catchy techno tune.
Chemical Plant Zone collab.
And a new original boss type thing for the BVGC that I started today. Got about 1 minute done, and it's all 8-bit instruments, but from there, I want to go into orchestral mode.
Oo, 8-bit orchestra, sounds sexy.
Yeah. Just listening back, it's pretty awesome as an 8-bit loop, so I might upload that, and then tackle an orchestra infusion later on. Although, I've made a few spur of the moment changes, such as the title- I had a bit of a rethink, because it wasn't really terribly "boss styled", it's better as a "final stage" type thing, so I'm going to chuck it in with my Sonic 4 concept I started with the BVGC and make it the "Phantom Chaos Zone" music, although the instruments are 8 bit and very minimal (I only used the one VST =P ) but as well as the orchestra, I'd like to beef it out a bit, add some effects, maybe some percussion, it's got a very military march feel to it, I'll just post the loop up now.
