I've begun my Creative Writing major, finally, and it feels so good to know that hopefully, my work will be evolving with more of an air of professionalism. It's only a week in, and the tutor liked the brief flash fiction piece I wrote in class. I may work on it a bit more and possibly post it up here, but at the moment, I've left it as is.
Most recently, however, I've strived to produce a poetic piece, and I feel that while some words may be a bit off, and the flow of events may not be as fluid as I'd like, I think I've done alright for someone who only occasionally dabbles in the fine art of poetry. It is with this notion, that I'd love you all to read my work, The Pyramid, and give me your feedback, as I find the word of the general public to be a very valuable one.
Furthermore, I've written a short prose piece that I'm very proud of, for the July Monthly Writing Competition, as I feel I had good pace, vocabulary and atmosphere, and I don't believe I've been able to achieve as well a rounded piece as this in my past. So, again, I can't stress this enough, I would apreciate it very much, if you were to read and leave criticisms for She. For those wondering, it's a horror story, based around a man stalked by a demonic woman-spirit, as he tries to move on from his wife's death. It sounds quite cheesy, summarised like that, so I'll let the wording and articulation of the story speak for itself.
Thanks to all of my readers, whoever you may be, I strive for my best continually, and I strive to share my stories, with you. I hope you guys enjoy the writing I present to you today.
