Rule 10!

Wow, this is awesomeness. Definitely most original spin on jingle bells I ever heard, sounds like it's from some hellbent christmas videogame (santabro and his child slave factory?)
Yup, it's definitely full of that wonderful christmas spirit everyone keeps talking about =P
The rhythms and the pitch bending makes it sound so weird, but also very cool. But that's the sorta thing you need to do for chiptunes to stand out in the crowd.
5'd it.

Rucklo responds:

lol, santabro and the childslave factory is fucking ace shit man, this can't be compared...

thanx alot for the review and the vote, man, im glad you liked it! :D

The vocals

complement the song mighty finely.
People should totally have to sing this song before they're allowed to place an order for muffins in a muffin shop =P
It's even yummier than before.
Lyrics are rule 10.

Rig responds:

When they ask me what I want for breakfast in the cafeteria, I just play this song. lol
The lyrics are VERY 10, eh?

Yummy

Best bit is when you get into the real badass bass from 24 seconds to the end. Full of yummy muffiney bass frequencies.
I'll fifen it for ya.
3.95/5.00 to 4.06/5.00

Also, LOL

Rig responds:

The bass was created from muffin death-cries.
It was painful to listen to at first...but then I remembered rule 10.
:D

2 in the weekly top 5

Congrats on that!
Your music is so good. I'd expect nothing less than weekly first for this. 5'en, 10/10, fav.
Top stuff F-777

Awesome

I love the intro. It all sounds so neat and clean, then the big fat dirty bass comes in =P and I dig that as muchas the intro. Drums are wicked. Orchestral adds a great touch to the song. And that echo, oh it's so good. Love how it transforms into the dirty DnB sound rather than having a wall of bass throughout the whole song, diverse. I like it. Very much. I'll 5 it and fav it.

Nice, relaxing

Kind of has a soothing, almost ambient feel about it. Great work. 10/10, 5/5

F-777 responds:

Thanks man! I think this is my best piece so far.

Cool

I love the piano, synths are cool, percussion is fitting. Ooh, sexy synth coming in at 4:00.
Have to agree about the repetitive-ness of it. I would suggest making it a bit shorter if you don't want to spend more time keeping it diverse. It's not too bad though, just a little repetitive, it IS trance, so a little is ok.
Good job.
I'll give you a 5/5 for that and a cookie, enjoy!

Karco responds:

I COULD make it shorter, but not by too much - a minute, tops. :\ Not enough to clear the issue of diversity. And I'm tired enough of working on this one, so I won't bother. XD

Thanks for the high ratings and the review! Glad you liked it! :)

FL presets!

The samples don't sound all that nice together. Choir sounds annoying how it's always cutting off. The effects and drums really have to go, it's all very cheesy sounding. Atleast try the sytrus presets or something a little more danceable. It might be ok if you use some more original sounds, maybe some good synth VSTs. Start exploring new sounds in FL, edit them, mix around the effects a bit, but please don't use the samples, they really don't do justice to the budding musician. When I was starting out with FL, that's kinda what I did, but once you look around, read a few tuts, you'll know how to get some real fresh sounds out of your music. I'm not saying I'm pro at FL, that's certainly not the case, just that there is a lot to learn about FL.
Good luck refining your sound. And don't take this review too harsh, experiment and practice is the key to improvement, and eventually, success!

SonicJ responds:

I never take a review the wrong way. This is Constructive criticism for me, and I take it to the heart.
As long as it's not what I got for another song "What is society coming to?" And got a 1/10. THats not helpful. I liked the cheesy sounding effects and drums ._. could you perhaps give me a link so some Fl studio tutorials? And thanks for the helpfull review :)

Oh man, I love your stuff.

Another amazing song. Flawless... 10/10 and 5/5. It deserves nothing less.

Also, audio review no. 100!

F-777 responds:

Wow awesome thanks =D.

Must have been some 2 months.

I like how you got the sound of my numerous clocks and dishwasher, and computer hum into this piece. I think there's also a hint of television?
Great idea. Wish I could've beaten ya to it...

Rig responds:

That television buzz was actually a sample of me yelling "NAIVE!" and played back really fast. Glad you noticed - it doesn't really sit high up in the piece. Good job.
Thanks for the review!
