Awesome... just awesome

The music flows so well, the melody rises and falls brilliantly, it's very beautiful, everything blends together in a very tight harmony.
A song very well done.

F-777 responds:

Thanks man. Have you heard original? I changed it quite a bit.

Love it.

A great fusion of oriental and dance music. It has a brilliant drive to it. I love the atmosphere in the background, and the build up of the snare, I can't seem to get that right in my music just yet, but you had everything down perfectly.
Top stuff.

F-777 responds:

Thanks man =D. Let me know when you have more songs out.

Nice flow

The chord and movement of the piece is really good. The main instrument, I believe, should have more initial punch, it sounds too out of place, with the grungy dirty sound. If you change that, I think this'll be very nice, the lead melody works well. Nice job.

Check out my music?

F-777 responds:

Hey writersblock...wow long time havn't heard from you...like 7 months or somthing...you probably forget me.

Anyways yes i will check out your new songs.

Thanks for the review.

Kinda reminds me of...

those halloween levels in games such as banjo-kazooie and other N64 adventure games...
That xylophone reminds me of skeletons (lol stating the obvious...)

Maybe this'll be to halloween what elevator music is to most of the elevators in newgrounds.
Just wait till the end of the month and this'll be in many flashes... (That's what I believe anyway)

LJCoffee responds:

Well, I hope so - that's why I uploaded it ;)

Plus, I always get a kick out of it when people use my stuff in animations.

Thank you for taking to time to review it!

Sounds like a random noodle-fest.

You might want to brush up on your noodling skills, some parts sound like a child just pressing random notes (not to sound offensive). But, yeah, the war part wasn't all that strong. It would have worked a helluva lot better if you used a minor key there. Also, it sound that some accidentals were placed there unnecesarilly, so all in all, it just sounds like random notes, practice a bit on your improv skills (I'm hopeless at it, so I don't really mess with it unless I develop it into a proper song). I don't mean to sound mean, but it wasn't good. I'd recommend to learn a bit more about how you should progress with a song, get the necessary chords to flow into eachother, and give it the proper climax it deserves. Not bad, but in all honesty, I'm voting 2. (not to discourage you, but not to put on a false attitude and give you the impression that you're really good, you'll develop the necessary skills soon enough).

Androu1 responds:

Well...it IS random. It was kind of a challenge from a friend of mine. The idea was just to improvise a song. All this song is improvisated...EVERYTHING!!! Well...lie,the drums aren't (if you can even hear then).

Well,whatever.Your reviews is helpful.Thanks!

Yeah, some parts sound so much like the old battle music from a number of videogames. I haven't played Phantasy Star 4, but the random sounds that are in there sound like they came from the original, but it still sounds pretty cool.
Nice work.

DoobyTimePiece responds:

actually, its 100% original from composition, the melody is based on the original music but tweaked for the applaction it will be used for. but thanx for the review buddy, tell your friends this got ridiculed because it was so high close to top 5 day. dooby

Nice riff

But some of it sounds like it was just thrown in at random, the FL vocal samples and the random high piano notes.

It's quite enjoyable considering how strange it it. I like it. 4/5

SoulofDeath responds:

i made the song in 2 hours lol and my cousin wanted it done quick so some things were kinda thrown in, the voices weren't because FL only supplied 2 creepy voices and those were the 2.

This is strange...

Very creepy, the parts don't really want to mix, so it adds to the creepiness.
Too creepy for me!
nice work.

DoobyTimePiece responds:

ok so you writers block noticed this.

YAY!!!
ok i exsplane
the first part lets call it flute1
this is simple and pretty kind zeldaish but more to the point soundly. flute2 witch is the dar sounding simple sample is contridicting to flute1.
flute2 isent really a flute eater its called glass bottles. verry pretty snythpad sound. so the erieness is installed. but ibelive this isone of the better works i have done so far as time spent on it and quality.

even thoethe two riffs of the song colide they colide so beutifuly that i had a hard time debating to lose it or not. so i kept it and it worked out verry well

but thanx for you review WB i wont forget it
peace out

Wow, this is awesome

Nice dynamics and build up. It has a historic feel to it.
Love it
5/5
Keep it up!

afliXion responds:

Thanks. I will keep it up.

Cool

I really like this, multiple layers, ties together really well, awesome and different techno song. The synths are there, but the punch is missing. (I think that's a good thing).
Nice work.
Keep it up!

alertG responds:

Oh, SBB: I think you were thinking of the hypersaw. But I do tweak the synths sometimes to make them sound better for the piece.

Thanks WritersBlock. :)

I'm a writer.
